Showtime US style
By Tim Freeman
Attending two US shows in quick succession, the Freeman Technology Inc. team has spent an intensive two weeks meeting and working with people who process powders, and as always it’s been an illuminating experience.
Our links with the pharmaceutical industry ensured there were many familiar faces at Interphex in New York and it’s always rewarding when visitors tell us they are really seeing the benefits of using the FT4 Powder Rheometer. Many of the people we spoke to this year were from small to mid-size pharma companies, or those focusing in specialist areas, bringing new dimensions to the use of our powder characterisation solutions.
You can get a flavour of the show from a video that the InPharmaTechnologist team put together, with clips featuring a number of exhibitors.
No sooner was the booth down (it seems) than it had to be reassembled in Rosemont for PTXi the Powder Show. A very busy event here with a broad cross section of industries represented, and so we heard about many interesting and varied applications. Not only a wide range of industries, but people with diverse professional interests, and notably for us equipment manufacturers wanting to optimise the solutions they propose to their customers, and needing to better understand the materials involved. If you are interested in how this can work, then you might find a recently published case study helpful.
We’re very happy to be helping whatever your application so thank you to everyone who took the trouble to drop by the Freeman Technology booth.
With Interphex Japan, ACHEMA and the 5th Asian Particle Technology Conference on the horizon, I’m looking forward to meeting many more people from the powder processing world in the next two months.
