The Uniaxial Powder Tester (UPT) is a unique stand-alone uniaxial shear tester for simple, sensitive and cost effective powder characterisation. The instrument delivers repeatable and reliable measurements, providing a robust alternative to traditional powder testing techniques.

We are pleased to announce the release of two new application notes which provide more detailed information on the instrument:

- Offline Consolidation to Measure the uUYS of Powders

At IFPAC 2018, we also presented "Uniaxial Powder Testing for Optimising High Shear Wet Granulation", in which the UPT was used to scope the impact of water content and excipient ratio on granule properties.
